meet our pastor

Rev. Judith L. Myers (she/her) has served as our Pastor since early 2017.  She comes to us from Richmond, Virginia where she earned her Master of Divinity from the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond.  She spent her seminary career as the Admissions Counselor for the Seminary, as well as the Pastoral Resident at Ginter Park Baptist Church (where she was ordained in August 2016).  

Judith is not only our bi-vocational Pastor, but is also the Thrive Hub Manager with SCThrive, a South Carolina nonprofit that works with residents to apply for different government benefits (SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, etc)

Judith completed her Master of Social Work from Winthrop University in summer 2025. Judith secured her LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) with an end goal of opening a private practice with a focus of church hurt & religious trauma.

Judith lives in Northeast Columbia with her husband, Kevin, and their ever-growing menagerie of animals (current headcount: 7 cats, 2 dogs)
